The Church of the Holy Spirit

The Church of the Holy Spirit has had its doors open for many years and has been brave enough to transform with the changing times and attract those with open hearts and inquisitive minds. At the moment the Church offers Healing, Meditation Groups, Readings, Yoga, Tarot Classes, Coffee Mornings with readings & much more in friendship & support.
It’s a place of teaching, healing, guiding, & friendship, helping many to recognise & expand their Spiritual gifts.
For this is a time to stand tall & walk forward progressing on your path & then shining out to others bringing the ripple effect of Spiritual awareness on earth into the lives of many.
I am a friend of The Church of the Holy Spirit & grateful to Annie & Beth for all the support & help they have given me & many others through the ever changing times.
In Peace & Love
- Pat Plummer.
The Church of the Holy Spirit

The church for me is a great healer,
With comfort and company,
There is no greater wealth in this world,
Than peace of mind.

The Church of the Holy Spirit

Becoming part of the Spiritualist Church has opened many new and exciting doors for me. Primarily it was my own spiritual development that drew me to Annie’s Circle, which allows and encourages you to grow and develop your own personal and individual characteristics. It then opened other doors into friendship and all the other aspects that the Church offers. There really is something for everyone including healing, tarot, meditation, trance etc. Coffee morning is held once a month with is a wonderful opportunity to meet other people, socialise, have a reading and eat deliciously home made cake. This has been such a positive opportunity for me and it could be for you too.

The Church of the Holy Spirit

I would recommend this church and its community to anyone. It has supported me through the various traumas and difficulties that I have experienced over the last two years. They’ve all been amazing. The church has a lovely welcoming atmosphere and there is a variety of activities and groups that bring people together enabling new friendships to be formed. The meditations and healing have been of particular benefit to me and I look forward to continuing my relationship with the church for many years to come.

The Church of the Holy Spirit

The Church of the Holy Spirit & Peace by the Sea, is about building community. Evolving with the times, it is a beautiful Healing Sanctuary, healing is every Monday evening and includes a healing meditation, Reiki and Spiritual Healing in a warm, supportive and welcoming atmosphere where you can relax, unwind and find inner peace for mind, body and soul. Coffee morning every first Saturday in the month, with home made cakes, is a great opportunity to get to know people, enjoy social time with friends and meet new friends, have a reading and healing. There are Spiritual Development classes and Tarot workshops, Meditation, Yoga, Pilates and AA Group meetings, also a Healing Service on Zoom Friday evenings, includes a meditation and Distant Healing for the world, begun and hosted by Annie during covid lockdown, continues as it’s a great way of reaching out to the wider community. Looking forward to retirement when I can give more time to spiritual pursuits and the classes and workshops available.

The Church of the Holy Spirit

Although I don’t live in the area, I regularly attend events at the church. I have always found them very welcoming, friendly and well organised particularly the coffee mornings which I would highly recommend.

I love use of this hall. It is the perfect size for my classes. My clients feel safe and welcome and are reassured the classes can’t be too big. They also love the feel the hall offers. This is perfect for private clients or groups.
The bookings are flexible, fast responses and generous. It’s a great hall! Thank you.

The Church of the Holy Spirit

I feel very privileged to have found this wonderful group of people at Church of the Holy Spirit, during lockdown I joined Tarot via zoom meetings and haven't looked back, I immediately felt comfortable and was welcomed in like I'd known them all for years, I consider myself very fortunate to have made some wonderful life time friends during the dreaded Covid pandemic.
If you want to develop your spiritual awareness the circle is fantastic, watching Annie in trance is mind blowing!
If you want to switch off then try the Meditation,or alternatively want a friendly face and tea & cake, there is always coffee mornings, trust me there is something for everyone of you.
Love as always,
- Cheryl xx

The Church of the Holy Spirit

I met Annie just before covid struck and confined us to our homes. Annie invited me to join in the virtual events on zoom hosted by the Church. We had quizzes, chats, healing services, circle and meditation. I had never meditated before, and this was a huge learning curve for me, but one I enjoyed, and I am learning all the time. Living alone and being terminally ill I could have just stagnated for the lock down period, instead of which I made friends, with plenty of laughter and good humour as well as experiencing the powers of meditation and healing in particular. Even my son noticed the change in me and how I became more peaceful and strong after joining the Church.
It was such a pleasure after a year to meet my friends in the flesh and to enjoy face to face services at the little Church.
I will do all I can within my limited physical capacity to help these marvellous friendly, caring people to progress the church in any way possible.
Meantime I am hugely grateful for the love and positivity that has been showered upon me and I am immensely proud to be a member of The Church of the Holy Spirit.
Yours sincerely,
Alison Williams

"Would like to say how much I am enjoying the peace and friendliness of the Tuesday afternoon meditations. To be able to 'switch off' the sometimes hectic brain for a while is a real treat, and your non religion / or any themes are ideal for doing just that. Keep them coming please, and I will be there" : - Mary Pettman

The Church of the Holy Spirit

I first came to the Church back in June of this year, new to the area and looking for new ventures and hopefully friendship, I found both and my life has changed completely! The new activities are varied, interesting and fun, there's something for everyone, whether its for Mind Body or Spirit or all three! The Gong Bath is amazing, Yoga, Pilates or finding peace and relaxation with Mindful Meditation and Healing. Take the plunge and you won't look back!

The Church of the Holy Spirit

I was delighted to be asked to be part of this church and will endeavour to do all I can to help. As I understand it, the church was built and provided by a local man for the Community, many years ago. Situated in the heart of Tankerton, it is ideally suited for the local people to have a meeting place in which they can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, and be welcomed with a smile and made to feel they are part of the community . It is a Christian Church, which also acts as a venue for a variety of uses, be it Thai Chi, Meditation, Reiki, and Healing. The anticipation is for more activity within the church now the Evangelical Church has moved away. Wether it be a cup of tea and a chat, or joining one of the groups, it is really there for everyone. The monthly Coffee morning/Open Days, are welcome to all denominations and are great for either just a bit of company and a chat or an introduction to what goes on and when , within the church. On those days, there are various opportunities to check it all out, wether it be a reading, Reiki, or Tarot, should you be interested! All is done on a voluntary donation with the odd exception of a small charge for readings. All the cakes are homemade and there are fruit teas as well as the good old fashion tea! A very relaxed and friendly morning! Here’s to the next Coffee/Open morning!
Yours sincerely,
Jennifer
